What telephone company doesn't list their own telephone number ANYWHERE?
Their live chat stalls you with a program that pretends to be trying to answer your questions.
The ads, including the live TV ones say "call anywhere in the US and Canada".
BS! They block all calls to ares that are served by a small telephone company.
Well, you can TRY to call, but if you hear three "fast Busy" tones and then are dis
connected, they are deliberately blocking the number you (or any magicJack user) are trying to call!
If you spent hours typing and complaining with their interactive chat program.
It's worse than a phone call because you have to type back to them, and then just tell you what they're doing ("investigateing the matter"). If you keep repeating the complaint, they will eventually send you an email saying it's too expensivc and offering you a pro-rated refund - no matter where and when you bought it!
AND, with a condition to the refund, that says if you buy another one. they may refuse to let you re-signup for the service.
They do this because it may cost them some of the profits they're making in more competitive areas and screwin customers served by small telephone companies (mostly rural).

Voicemail
Free voicemail is included in your magicJack purchase. To retrieve your voicemail, simply use your mouse to click the VOICEMAIL button on your magicJack softphone, or dial your own number (from any phone). At the automatated voice press the star (*) button. When prompted, enter your default password: 1234. Then follow the prompts to change your password, customize or retrieve your voicemail.
